Chamchela is now SOLD!
We had Chamchela for 17 years; our last voyage was in the Indian Ocean Islands in late 2006. We had to return to the UK to work, leaving our beloved boat in Kenya. Received an offer we couldn't refuse in October 2009, and so had to say goodbye at last. Such a huge piece of our lives, now no more. HOWEVER: we live on the Broads in Norfolk, and were able to use some of the proceeds from Chamchela to purchase a day boat, but then decided we needed something more - so bought a little cabin cruiser and sold the dayboat. But we missed living aboard, and so the cabin cruiser is for sale! And - Oh my goodness, we've decided to first move onto a NARROWBOAT for a couple of years instead!
